Overview

The Keetec BLADE is a highly advanced car alarm system compatible with both CAN-Bus and analogue vehicle systems. Designed for modern 12 V and 24 V vehicles, it allows seamless integration using the original remote and supports sophisticated immobilisation and authorisation methods, including PIN code entry (CODE-TO-DRIVE) and optional Bluetooth (RF SMART v2) key authorization.

How It Works

Arming the System

Press the lock button on the original remote:

• Siren chirps once (if enabled)

• Hazard lights flash once

• Doors lock

• Alarm arms

If any door, hood or trunk is open, the system gives five quick beeps.

Disarming the System

Press the unlock button:

• Siren chirps twice (if enabled)

• Hazard lights flash twice

• Doors unlock

• Alarm disarms

Automatic Rearming

If no door is opened or ignition turned on within 90 seconds, the alarm re-arms automatically (feature is optional and configurable).

Alarm Trigger

If triggered by door opening, ignition, or motion (if sensor fitted), the siren sounds and hazard lights flash for 30 seconds. The system can re-trigger up to five times if the issue persists.

CODE-TO-DRIVE (PIN Entry)

An optional added layer of protection where the driver must input a 4-digit code using dashboard or steering wheel buttons after unlocking the vehicle:

• Up to 4 different buttons can be used

• Up to 10 button presses total

• If code is correct, 3 beeps confirm and immobiliser disables

• If incorrect or not entered, engine remains blocked

This is ideal for keyless entry vehicles, adding a second layer of driver verification.

Service Mode

Used when taking the car for servicing:

To activate:

• Disarm the system

• Press and hold the service button for 5 seconds

• Release and enter your 4-digit PIN

• The LED stays on and you hear 5 confirmation beeps

To deactivate:
Repeat the same process with correct PIN.

Emergency Override

If your remote fails or you lose your Bluetooth tag:

• Turn ignition ON

• Press and hold the service button for 5 seconds

• Release and enter your 4-digit PIN via button presses

• System will deactivate and allow engine start
